It looks that the yeast has a crazy party time inside the tank because the bubbles in the outside bucket are like a volcano eruption!:)

We started the fermentation 65 hours ago. Will be around 5 days.

We cooked 3,000 liter water with 3,000 pound Winnemucca Farm wheat, the first mash for NEVADA VODKA.

We planned for weeks what we will do but we still had a lot of surprises. We learned a lot!  The photo diary of this historic day is on our Facebook page.

Las Vegas Distillery is the first legal distillery in history of Nevada!:)

We are very honored and happy. It was a long way.  The Copper Angels are ready to fly!

Yuuuuuuuhuuuuuuuuuuu!:)

Today we gave the state license application to the Clark County Business Department. They will send it to the Board of Commissioners, who need to sign it. Their next meeting is on March 1st, 2011. We were told that this signed application needs to arrive to Carson City and we would have the Nevada license in days. So let’s start the countdown: 25 more days to open the Distillery! Cheers!
