Jim Spoto is a jazz saxophonist known for leading jazz ensembles and creating engaging live jazz experiences for his audience. His live performances tend to combine classic jazz elements with more modern interpretations, makng them accessible to both seasoned jazz aficionados and casual listeners.
Jim Spoto started playing the clarinet at the age of 8 in Syracuse, New York. Switching to saxophone in high school, he found his true calling. He graduated from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he played with the award winning Jazz Ensemble. During this time he played shows with Jerry Lewis, the Spinners, Robert Goulet, Bobby Vinton, and many others.…
